People who use wearable electronic products can be roughly divided into three categories. First of all, sports functions are needed, and small tools are mainly selected as training assistants. Second, prioritize notifications and calls, so as not to be distracted by calls every few minutes. The rest only need to buy modern accessories, they can watch the time on it, and sometimes they can view some data of their daytime activities. And the fitness watch of Xiaomi Imilab W12 is the most suitable choice.

Design and materials
The appearance of the watch is rigorous: classic shape, round display, black strap, no manufacturer’s logo and bright elements.
The body of the Imlab W12 is almost entirely made of metal. It feels comfortable to the touch and has good scratch resistance-after two weeks of active use on the watch, including the protective glass of the screen, even barely visible traces of use appeared. There is an oleophobic coating on the surface of the display, which slides well and will not be covered by fingerprint smudges.
The Imlab W12 touch screen display will not be activated by normal touch. It opens by turning your hand or pressing a button-this is useful because the possibility of accidental clicks has been minimized. The screen has 4 levels of brightness. In order to use it comfortably in the sun, you need to manually set the maximum brightness-there is no light sensor here.
The display is large and the resolution (360×360 pixels) is sufficient to display a clear picture. Of course, I prefer the OLED panel for deeper blacks, and the screen quality here is good-it will not spoil the impression of the watch’s cool design. The touch is accurately recognized and there is no problem with the sensor.
You can access the training mode in Imilab W12 through the main menu or by pressing the mechanical button below, which will immediately open the exercise section-which is more convenient.
Connection and application
The watch is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0, and there is no problem with the stability of the connection. For synchronization, use the Glory Fit mobile app, which can be downloaded directly from Google Play or App Store. There is a QR code with the application address on the package and on the user manual. The watch is suitable for devices running Android 5.1 and iOS 9.0 or higher operating systems.
The Imilab watch surprised me. Of course, in terms of functionality, they are actually no different from ordinary fitness trackers, but as accessories, such gadgets are much more interesting than any bracelet. The watch looks and feels sturdy on the hand and can be used on Android and iOS. Therefore, if you are looking for a multi-function device with all the basic functions, W12 is a chic alternative to Mi Band and others at a very affordable price.
